The turtle is an icon at my house. I have a collection of them. Each turtle in this Toddler Baby Quilt in batiks is individually quilted and has a head and tail that float loose from the top. Each head and tail has batting, and each turtle body has an extra layer of cotton batting, or trapunto. Spirals are quilted into the big border, double circles in the small border. The background between the turtles is stitched in a meander design. The backing is teal flannel fabric. This quilt measures 42 x 52 inches.
Wash in cool water on gentlest cycle using soap. Dry flat or tumble dry on low. If it gets really soiled and needs a warm wash, there may be some shrinkage.
