This small art quilt started with a call to artists for entries into a small show at Eagle, Idaho, City Hall. The background is pieced using batiks. I appliqued the flower pot and flowers. Ruth gets credit for the lovely little hexagon flowers, around which I built the piece.
The quilt is backed in a blue and green hand dyed fabric.
The back has hanging pockets on the upper corners. I've included a small dowel about 10 inches long for hanging. The double-fold French binding is sewn to the piece by machine, and stitched down by hand to finish.
Quilt will ship priority mail with delivery confirmation and insurance in the USA.
Quilt is washable by hand in cold water with gentle soap and laid flat to dry.
